The EMBRACE project is a textbook that will serve as an open source for advanced Arabic learners and instructors. EMBRACE encompasses 10 instructional modules that cover contemporary Arabic culture and society (e.g., education, media, religion, genres of music) and includes grammatical, lexical and dialectal variations of Arabic by means of introducing and incorporating four major language skills. The course can be adapted to different instructional modes.
